World Usability Day 2006
November 14th is World Usability Day! I know, I’m a day late. However, I promise that I made usable things yesterday. And the days before. And I promise for days that haven’t even passed yet, I will continue to make usable things. Wow, that is starting to sound more and more like a pledge of […]

Color, joy and excitement
I stumbled upon the Whitney Music Box this morning. You really have to see it to understand what it does. It’s open-source so you can check it out if you’re feeling saucy. There are also a few other neat applets available here.

Google Code Search
Google has yet another rendition of their search engine called Google Code Search. The twist here is that it’s intended for programmers looking for bits of code publicly available on the Internet. Of course, if you’re looking for the latest algorithm for generating serial numbers for certain zipping software, then it’s good for that too. […]

A List of C# Links and Resources
I created a list of links for a client at work for learning C# and .NET programming. Here’s the list that I came up with which also includes a few books. I think that the key to learning a new language is relating it to a language you already know. It’s the whole theory of, […]

Google Page Creator
Google came out with a web page creator a few weeks ago but after the first few thousand people signed up a waiting list started. I, of course, signed up as soon as I could not because I really need another website but just because I wanted to play with something new. This morning my […]

Instantaneous Gratification
I saw this advertised on another site and could not resist clicking it. Because, really, 2 seconds is 1.9 seconds too long! This web application creates a cache of registered domains and searches them really quickly. It’s neat. Here’s a free plug for this service which is donation-ware (so no ads). Check it out!

ISCO.US
I own the domain ISCO.US. It’s going to expire in 30 days. I don’t intend on using it any longer so if anyone wants it, please ask! I will transfer it to you free of cost so that you can renew it for $8/year. Originally, I was going to do something with sub-domains such as […]
