Fairly Realistic

I used to use VMWare Workstation quite regularly in college to work on different projects and for testing. The software virtually runs another operating system within a window in Windows which is really convenient. Just recently, VMWare has decided to give away VMWare Server for free. You can download it from the VMWare website. This is a great package for testing and for running multiple servers from one server. In other words, you can run your database and web server from the same physical box during development. Setup is easy too so give it a try with that old computer sitting in your closet! (Or under your bed, or in the basement, or where ever you keep your old computers… mine have all moved to the basement.)
