Visio Crime Scene Template

Just in case your boss ever asks you to create a Visio diagram of a recent crime at the office, there is a shapes template for just the occasion. This template could come in useful if Dave freaks out and starts stapling people to their desks in a caffeine induced rage.

Real Alternative

I never install Real Player. I think it’s a terrible program. However, every once in a while some crazy company (name intentionally left out) creates training videos for their crazy product API (again, name intentionally left out). Anyway, I refuse to install Real Player. Even if it would allow me to watch the API training […]

Christopher Walken 2008

…and the 2008 elections are starting to heat up! Christopher Walken (whether he knows it or not) is apparently running for office in 2008. I saw this on Brad’s blog earlier today. You’ll be able to buy t-shirts and other stuff soon. I wonder if they’ll have Walken 2008 cow bells for sale?

Server Moved!

Blogs have been moved successfully assuming that this post from ecto shows up on FairlyRealistic.com!
You might be wondering why I say “blogs” rather than “blog.” Well, that’s because I have the honor of hosting Caley and RenĂ©’s blog Sweetest Things. Oh and we can’t forget Joe and A Day Blog, he’s kickin’ around somewhere on […]

Server Moving

I am finally moving the blogs to my WebIntellects account. Goodbye iPowerWeb.
Expect a day or two of down time while I switch over DNS and move the blogs.
Thanks!

Birthday Goodies

I scored pretty well this past birthday.
Today I am utilizing a few of the neat things that I received! I am listening to music on my awesome Bose headphones from Nicole, planning on some coffee from Panera and Leaf & Bean from Joe, wearing a sexy green/pink/yellow/white shirt my Mom got for me […]

C# on OS X and Linux Too?

I came across this TrollTech company in the latest Dr. Dobb’s Journal that has a product that should compile Windows, OS X and Linux applications without re-factoring code. It’s called Qt/Windows and integrates with Visual Studio. Since I’m on my Powerbook right now, I have not had a chance to try it out. I wonder […]

Praying Mantis

Over the weekend while Nicole and I were in Florida, we saw a few Praying Mantis at my uncles house near the Gulf. Nicole befriended one of them and carried the little girl around for quite some time while she quietly and calmly sat on Nicole’s hand. The kind and gentle mantis that we saw […]

Florida, Family, Fun and Sun

Today is my birthday!
Nicole and I flew to Florida to visit my Mom, Grammie/Papa and a few uncles to celebrate. We’ll be back Sunday night. Of course, you should call either of our cell phones to talk to us!
We just finished mowing my Mom’s lawn, trimming the edges and pruning a tree. The grass down […]

Pun of the Week

Here in Fairport, we meet a lot of people on the canal just outside of our office. A lot of people take their boats through the canal during the summer and stop by at all of the cute little towns such as Fairport and spend the night. We met yet another one of these people […]
