Clocks
I’ve got this really nifty hard drive platter clock that my dad made hanging in our office at home. It’s a 10mb platter from the 80’s (I think) and it suffered a horrible crash at one point. The platter has metal missing where the head crashed and everything was still spinning. It must have been a spectacular sound to hear that thing go. ![]()

To compliment the awesome historical clock of data storage, we could hang this barcode clock. It’s slightly more high tech and really has nothing to do with data storage but it does have LEDs that change based on the time.
