IE7 Beta
Today Microsoft released beta copies of the next version of Windows and IE7! It’s actually not all that exciting. Well, not all that exciting for we Apple users. A new Apple Store opening is much more exciting!
My first impression was, “Why, oh why are programs still using the registry to store information.” I […]

Talk Like a Pirate Day
I know it’s still over a month away but don’t forget about Talk Like a Pirate Day! September 19th can’t come fast enough. There are few holidays quite as much fun as TLAPD. Be sure to celebrate at work, school, or where ever you are this year!

A while ago we had this *great* idea to cover an entire cubicle in tin foil. Then we thought, “humm, that’s a giant waste of tin foil.” Here’s the compromise [picture], Matt’s bluetooth mouse covered in tin foil while he is in a […]

Little Meat People
Becca sent me this wonderful site from Japan that illustrates (with diagrams) how to design little animals and flowers out of meat and other food products. I am quite astounded at the quality and precision of the diagrams.
Maybe I’ll attempt to create some of these this weekend. Is anyone up for little meat people?

The Moon Is Made of Cheese
Those crazy programmers at Google have done it again - another breakthrough in science. The moon is indeed made of cheese. What? You don’t believe me? Well take a close look at the moon by zooming in and tell me what you see. More information is avaiable online about Google’s initiative but it is limited […]

Video iPod?
As if there were any lack of rumors about Apple and what they’re going to do next… let’s start spreading another!
Next up could be a video enabled iPod! There are a few sites talking about it now - but it’s just talk. I am not sure that I’d go for a video iPod since I […]

Clocks
I’ve got this really nifty hard drive platter clock that my dad made hanging in our office at home. It’s a 10mb platter from the 80’s (I think) and it suffered a horrible crash at one point. The platter has metal missing where the head crashed and everything was still spinning. It must have been […]
