ClearType on Windows XP
If you have not already configured and tuned your ClearType settings on WinXP, you can do so here: ClearType Wizard.
You need to use IE6 to see this page and let the ActiveX control install (from Microsoft). Once installed, you will be led through a wizard which let’s you make decisions on your type settings like going to the eye doctor. It makes the fonts on your system a lot easier on the eyes since we’re staring at these machines all day.
Try it out, it only takes 30 seconds and it might save your eyes!
Sorry Powerbook users, your screens are already set to high-quality and you won’t be able to do this.
